Plumbers Courses

  • 6-Hour Apprentice Continuing Education Required to qualify for the Tradesman Exam. May be taken once by any licensed plumber for continuing ed credit.
  • 6-Hour Plumbers Continuing Education Required for apprentices with endorsements (Drain Cleaner Restricted, Utilities) and for licensed plumbers to renew. Also qualifies for the Tradesman and Journeyman exams.
  • 10-Hour OSHA Course Required to qualify for the Tradesman or Journeyman exams.
  • Board Approved 8-Hour Residential Codes Course Required to qualify for the Tradesman and Journeyman exams.
  • 18-Hour Commercial Codes Taught over 2 days, covering the state-approved outline needed to qualify for the Journeyman exam.
  • Medical Gas Training 3-day program covering NFPA 99, meeting State Plumbing Board requirements for the Journeyman and Master endorsement exam. NFPA 99 manual provided.

  • 40-Hr. BPAT Course — Code 1200 Teaches essential principles of cross-connection control and standard procedures for testing backflow prevention devices to protect potable water systems.
  • 32-Hr. BPAT Course — Code 1206 24-hour CE course providing licensed Backflow Prevention Assembly Testers with TCEQ-mandated hands-on training.
  • 8-Hr. Practical Skills Refresher — Code 1201 Critical updates on current regulations and codes, plus instruction on modern gauge technology and the latest backflow prevention materials.
  • 1–4 Hrs. BPAT Exam Practical Skills — Code 1350 BPAT practical exams only.
