Jerome Mendias brings a deeper-rooted respect for the trades, shaped by his heritage as a third-generation plumber and fourth-generation builder. His diverse background as an Electrician, HVAC Technician, Backflow Trainer, and student of some of Texas’s top professionals has given him a strong foundation and a passion for lifelong learning. With 40 years of industry experience, Jerome has operated his own plumbing company and spent over two decades in construction education.
He has taught a wide range of professionals including industrial maintenance engineers, plumbing technicians, carpenters, solar technicians, construction managers, and superintendents — at respected institutions such as Texas State Technical College and A&M. Jerome combines real-world experience with classroom expertise to deliver high quality instruction. He is committed to helping every student succeed and feel confident in their training.
